Duly sworn Deposeth and saith that the above account stands just that the above
property was taken by citizens of the united states (illegible) to be soldiers
returning from the Creek war that he has never received any benefit from the
united states not any other person whatsoever

Personally appeared before us James Hughes who being Duly
sworn Deposeth and saith that the above claimants claim is just to the property
above named was taken by citizens of the united states supposed (illegible) returning
from the Creek war that the claimant has never received any consideration for
the above account to the best of his knowledge
